FAQs

What does neurotoxin do?

Neurotoxin weakens the muscles, limiting movement of the muscles under the thinning dermis, and allowing the fine lines to discontinue being made by wrinkling of the dermis. Weakening these muscles allows the skin to regenerate where the lines were formed prior to treatment and when paired with skin resurfacing can be accomplished with an enhanced result.

How often do I need to get Neurotoxin?

Typically every 3 months is ideal, everyone is different and can range from every 2 months to every 5-6 months depending on how quickly someone metabolizes it- average ideal timeframe to keep up with a smooth skin texture- every 3 months.

How much will my neurotoxin cost?

This service is charged per unit, typically people need anywhere between 30-60 units depending on what areas they are treating.

What does dermal filler do?

Dermal filler restores volume in necessary locations on the face, there are also collagen stimulating fillers that can be used to restore and rejuvenate tissue in your face, hands, neck, chest, above the knees, and abdomen for tightening and restoration of skin laxity.

How much filler will I need?

Every person’s need for volume restoration is different and this is determined through in person consultation with mapping and measuring out a patients specific facial structures and areas of volume loss.

How often will I need to get filler to maintain my results?

This is dependent on the treatment type and treatment area, estimated maintenance schedule is every 9-12 months once the patient is at their goal for that area being treated.

What is the difference between neurotoxin and fillers?

Neurotoxin works on controlling muscle movement while dermal filler works on restoring lost volume. With Neurotoxins, you will see this “kick in” in about 3-5 days and can take about 10 days to full take effect. Dermal fillers are immediate results that improve as the product “settles”.

How much downtime with skin resurfacing?

Skin resurfacing treatments can vary in intensity, therefore a patient could have 1 day of downtime or about 7-10 days of downtime. This is a very flexible treatment and can be customized to the patient’s needs.
